Threaded Quick Connectors: Instant Testing Solution even at 150 Bar
The Threaded quick coupler the pressure-tight connection to standard as well as non-standard female threads is established within seconds. No additional sealants needed, and no manual tightening required. The easy handling allows for significant time and cost savings.
Just press the lever of connector, insert connect into the test piece, the pressure-tight connection is obtained within a second.
Operation Sequence (Pneumatic)
- Insert the connect into the test piece.
- Actuate the pilot pressure.
- The test piece will get sealed with help of the connect.
- Actuate the testing pressure
- After cycle completion, Release the testing pressure.
- Release the pilot pressure
- Remove the connect from the test piece.
Operation Sequence (Manual)
- GWI-M Quick Connector is locked manually in the threaded test specimen by pressing the lever. By operating lever, threaded collet gets collapsed and connect can easily inserted into the test specimen.
- Releasing the lever cause the threads to engage with mating threads of specimen.
- The sealing is carried out with help of O-ring at the face of connect.
- The system is filled or closed by means of air inlet plug.
- After the test completion, the quick connect is released again by pressing the lever to collapse the collet and connect can be removed.
